Salary: up to £70k + excellent benefits

Location: London based // 60-70% travel involved

My client is a globally known brand with several site across the UK and Europe.

The role:

• Support colour qualifications in can manufacturing plant in their assigned region.
• Work with vendors on new applications and or technologies
• Evaluate submitted samples to standards, Ensure SOP is being followed at all locations
• Update and organize regional colour standard library.
• Track and standardize ink colours thru all locations
• Communicate with can suppliers when colour and / or barcode standards are not met
• Conduct can manufacture plant / warehouse audits are required.

Above are just some of the key account abilities for this role. Travel will be up to 60%/70%

The Successful Candidate

• College degree in print or 5 years work experience in manufacturing or print colour management
• Technical / food production degree OR RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• Strong technical background in packaging, labelling and canning
• Is not colour blind! , attention to detail with a creative flare
• Pass artwork comparison, ideally artwork experience in packaging and labelling
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Capable of working in fast paced environments ideally within food or drink manufacturing
• HACCP, FOOD SAFETY, HYGEINE QAULIFCIATIONS

Ideally you will; have experience working at a senior technical level in a well-established food or drink manufacturing company. Culture is massive with this business so you must be willing to get stuck in and ultimately ‘get stuff done’!
