Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role while on shift is to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards to reduce downtime, react to any breakdowns quickly and perform planned maintenance. Working in the production and packing areas equipment includes depositors, conveyors, cutting equipment and automated packaging machines.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out fault finding and planned maintenance on kit to ensure maximum usage
  • Maintain Engineering schedule, communicating any changes to the team
  • Work in a safe manner, ensuring food safety standards are maintained


This role would suit a time-served Apprentice Engineer with experience of working with manufacturing equipment. A good mix of both electrical and mechanical experience is beneficial in this environment.
