The main purpose of this role is to deliver customer service whilst ensuring your team maximises resources, utilises robust control systems and supports manufacturing in the most cost effective way. Ultimately, customer satisfaction is paramount and key to the success of the site and business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Planning, Expediting, Inventory and Analysis – responsibility for oversight of production plans and procedures for the facility. Responsible for training of personnel, preparation of training aids, and transaction accuracy

Shipping and Warehouse – directing the accuracy of input and output of inventory and the support of department procedures within agreed budgeted targets.

Inventory Management – management of inbound and outbound inventory onsite and offsite

Business Process – continual review of supply chain processes. Implement new or improved supply chain processes:

  • KPI development and management
  • Management and development of Supply Chain personnel
  • SN Pillar Lead 

Loss Analysis - VSM (E2)

Customer Service

Inventory Management

MPSA (Master Production Schedule Adherence)

Material Utilisation

Data Integrity

POSS (plant operating strategy)

Time mapping and flow analysis

Shiftly Daily Direction Setting Meetings

 

Experience Required:

 

A proven background in leadership

Strong experience with ERP

Production planning background within manufacturing environment 

Inventory and distribution experience

As part of the site leadership team you will be expected to actively contribute on non-functional activities including HSE, Technical, communication, Manufacturing and cost saving projects etc.

Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma is desirable

 

Skills Required:

 

Demonstrates good commercial acumen

Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective relationships

Consistently seek to improve processes and effectively bring people through such changes

Positive ‘can do’ approach

High degree of initiative strong results orientation

The ability to build and develop stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to Board level/good communication skills

Strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
