A lively and busy food manufacturer that is continuously evolving and long standing in the food industry - sounds great right!

As the Food Safety and Internal Audit Co-Ordinator, you will be working with the talented Quality Systems and Internal audit team, supporting the stakeholders and the key contact relating to audit programmes and schedules.

The key responsibilities will include:
*Manage, improve and develop site internal food safety and quality audit plans
*Audit schedules are defined following risk assessment principles and kept in line with legislative requirements, industry and COP guidelines
*Team members and stakeholders are working to ensure non-conformances identified, risk assessed, root cause investigated and corrective action implementation strategy followed through
*Completing reports and monthly update analysis on the performance of the site and continuous improvement plans and completed in a timely fashion
*Lead and participate in internal, food safety and quality audits working across all departments to identify and highlight good and bad practices
*Developing and training support assessments of the internal auditing teams.

The successful attributes for the role must have UK food manufacturing experience, HACCP and Food Hygiene qualifications, internal auditing experience, QMS and Retailer Systems and exposure to BRC and retailers would be advantageous.
Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff.
