This is a fantastic opportunity to join a premium manufacturer of branded, luxury products which are sold in premium retailers throughout the UK.
You will ensure recipe sheets and production paperwork is completed in full, ensure bakery machinery is being used to optimum capacity, report any potential production issues or delays to the Production Planner, ensure yields are correct, ensure quality standards and protocols are adhered to at all times and ensure staff are working efficiently and using machinery correctly and safely.
To be considered for the Bakery Manager role, you will have solid production supervisory/management experience and a background of working in a bakery environment is essential. You will have a hands-on approach, a good knowledge of food safety standards and working knowledge of BRC, GMP and lean production processes is preferred.
The Bakery Manager job is based in the South West region and is paying £23,000 - £26,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours will be a shift rotation of early and late shifts, with the occasional night shift.
