Project Engineer, Food Manager, Scotland
Times are changing - can you help this business embrace change and continue its dominance in its specific category area?
Regardless of your views, it's hard not to feel affected by the recent political situation and potential change in the UK and for many of us, we find ourselves asking "what can I actually do?".
Politically, others will be able to answer better than I will. But professionally, joining a business that has c.65million customers every day and an industry leading position in its category would be a good place to drive your career forward and safeguard it at the same time.
This role will do exactly that. It works in a category that will not suffer pressure from importers meaning it has a significant customer base and because of this, the company is optimistic of its future. It is profitable and in growth and you will be tasked with helping this profitability by looking at CI / Lean initiatives and new equipment / machinery to increase efficiency and productivity.
You will be focused on leading the initiation and delivery of automation projects across the production and factory processes. You will therefore need to have a background in project engineering / new equipment installations within manufacturing, ideally food/drink/FMCG.
Projects will range from £10k to upwards of £2m so you will gain plenty of exposure to different CAPEX work to give you variety and ongoing interest.
If you want to work for an industry leading company that can offer you security in the short-term and progression to Project Manager or Operations Manager in the longer term, please apply to this role today.
