Their commitment to service and innovation within their category means they are looking to expand their current NPD team with a new Product Developer.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business where you’ll support key NPD projects, contributing to the development of new concepts and updating existing products in line with customer briefs for branded and own label ranges. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing innovative new products whilst also refreshing existing ranges in line with current and emerging food trends. You’ll be assisting with the NPD process in line with the critical path, co-ordinating day-to-day activities including producing samples and recipes whilst supporting the team by gathering key industry information and product data for customer presentations. The role will also involve trialling products in the factory and taking them through to launch in line with the critical path, liaising within internal teams to successfully deliver ranges to market.

The Person

We are looking for a creative and foodie graduate – ideally one who has had placement experience, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will have a passion for innovation and will be happy to get hands on during the development process. As well as being a self-starter with resilience, tenacity and lots of enthusiasm you will need to possess good project management, I.T and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
