This successful family owned business is well known for their on-going innovative and high quality private label products, supplying to all of the major retailers and food service companies.

This is an all-encompassing technologist role in which you will be project managing the technical and NPD aspects of the business. Whilst liaising with customers, internal teams and suppliers, key responsibilities will include:

• Specification writing and maintenance to ensure retailer and customer specifications are accurate and up to date.
• Artwork and labelling reviews.
• Market and product trend reviews.
• Supporting with NPD & EPD projects – arranging samples, organoleptic assessment, sample submission documentation.
• Customer complaints – managing complaints, trending and producing reports.specifications

We are looking for a food degree educated, self-motivated person who can work both autonomously and within a team, with excellent communication, organisation and project management skills. Ideally you will have online retailer specification writing experience for at least one major retailer.
