We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Capital Projects Manager to based at our site in Kiveton, Sheffield.

Main responsibilitiesOversee the delivery of multi-site or large infrastructure projects to ensure the delivery of agreed return on capital investment objectives
Personally lead the project management of specific large scale or complex projects to ensure completion is within agreed cost and time parameters
Apply governance across the Divisional Capital programme ensuring that the Capital Management process is understood, deployed and executed in line with the Group Capital Management policy
Raise the capital plan and then monitor and control capital investment spending to ensure cash flow is both aligned with agreed budgets and appropriately distributed across the life cycle of the project
Personally create the business case and structure the capital investment requirements for specific large or complex projects to inform group investment decision making
Ensure the Project Engineering community and the Engineering Controllers follow best practice standards so that a robust capital management programme is delivered in line with Group Health, Safety, Environmental and Food Safety Procedures
Liaise with Group Purchasing to maximise the cost and business effectiveness of the capital management process to ensure preferred supplier agreements leverage maximum benefit to the Group
Ideal candidate Demonstrable experience of developing influential relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers/partners at senior management level, including industry leaders
Previous evidence of performing highly complex work activities covering Engineering, technical, financial and quality aspects
Ability to creatively apply a wide range of technical and management principles
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong background of working within a robust methodology/best practice (Portfolio - P30, Prince2)
Working knowledge of relevant food and manufacturing legislation
Current understanding of food manufacturing and food factory design
