My client is a family run business looking for a Technical Co-ordinator after a recent leaver.

They are looking for a candidate who has experience in the Technical function who will ensure that the product leaving the company meets, the customer agreed and statutory legal requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to the following: -

Main Duties:

•    Generate and maintain internal audits schedules in line with BRC standards

•    Creation and maintenance of product specifications

•    Ensure ingredient declarations comply with current legislation

•    Review and maintenance of the HACCP system

•    Implement and manage continuous improvement activities

•    Monitor industry and legal developments and ensure site plans are updated appropriately

•    Create and maintain supporting documentation

•    Liaise with Local Enforcement Authorities as appropriate

•    Liaise with “Own Label” customers as required

•    Respond to technical queries as necessary

•    Investigate and monitor customer complaints

•    Liaise with pest control and chemical suppliers

•    Assist in the delivery of food safety & hygiene training

•    Support/deputise for Technical Manager

•    Assist with all third party/external audits

You will be a degree qualified or hold a relevant food qualification, Have experience in internal audits and have great communication skills
