Position: PM Planner

Based: Littleborough, United Kingdom

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning of all maintenance tasks and process compliance & certification through Holistech CMMS and generation of new maintenance tasks. Identifying resources required and liaising closely with other departments as required to ensure alignment of the maintenance plan with production plan to ensure operations are not compromised.
  • Produce regular maintenance plans and develop improvements to the tasks based on maintenance review processes, update department weekly PM tracker with progress Plan/Actual/Variance
  • Review of maintenance activities to reduce cost, increase effectiveness and address any backlog of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain the necessary calibration records for compliance in hard copy for audit purposes and update in Holistech CMMS, ensure that all users are updating and are reporting in enough detail, manage releasing and closing out on maintenance orders. Audit ready at all times.
  • Work with the Engineering compliance manager to ensure all legal and mandatory inspections and corrective tasks are planned and carried out within the legal guidelines Quickly returning equipment to design capability through using planned maintenance most effectively.
  • Own and maintain the Engineering work request system and ensure that tasks are closed out in a timely manner, providing the required prioritisation for safety related requests.
  • Working with and controlling contractors to ensure that planned works can be completed on time in a safe manner.
  • Maximising equipment availability through most effectively using planned maintenance Work safely, complying with the obligations under Health and Safety regulations.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Education in engineering discipline HNC / HND with a minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering maintenance team with good systems abilities.
  • PC literate.Experience of MS Office, Lotus notes, and SAP required, experience of using Holistech CMMS advantageous.
  • Strong team working, communication, problem solving and prioritisation skills.
  • Good understanding of inter-discipline skills and multi-skilling
  • Solid grounding in food handling safe practices, preferably with working awareness of HACCP, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and COSHH, and understanding of applying Permit to Work system, LOTO, Control of Confined Space Work regulations.
  • Able to interpret schematic diagrams and machine drawings.
