Job Details

Production Operative, Westbury (12 month contract)

We're one of the world's biggest dairy producers. Join our Westbury site, the home of Anchor Butter, as a valued Production Operative, and you'll contribute to making food that is loved by millions.

Create the Future

...working shifts in a friendly and diverse team, employed directly on a fixed term contract for 12 months. You'll keep everything in your area clean, safe and running perfectly. You'll work with all kinds of machines too - solving problems, learning new things and speaking up if you think something can be done better.

Packing and moving stock may also be part of your job, which can be hard work. But it'll be worth it. You'll become a valued member of a team where you'll find opportunities to step up to a new challenge. And at end of every shift, you'll be able to see the contribution you've made to creating some of the world's favourite dairy products.

The shift pattern is 12 hour shifts, days and nights - 28 rotating cycle where you work 14 out of 28 days. Average 42 hours per week. So, as well as the joy of avoiding rush hour commutes, you'll be able to fit your work around your lifestyle. This is a 12 month fixed term contract but with the possibility of future opportunities.

Grow with Arla

…because we're committed to professional development, training and promoting from within. Our positive and collaborative culture will bring out the best in you. And you'll join a market leader who produces nutritious household-favourite brands in a way that makes things better for our customers, the farmers who own us, and the whole world.

You are

...a motivated team player with a sharp eye for detail. You've ideally worked in a production line or manufacturing environment before, so you know about following processes and sticking to health and safety rules. It's therefore vital you can understand and read all signage, and are able to communicate well as our sites run on teamwork. What's more, you're as serious about quality as we are - and ready to work hard to achieve it. You'll be a strong performer with a good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills.

Apply

...online as soon as possible please. We offer competitive rates of pay and holidays in line with the current market. Whilst this is initially a contract role there's a possibility of future permanent opportunities. We look forward to hearing from you.
