This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company, based in modern facilities, to support their customer base across the UK. The business develops and markets cost effective and safe solutions that deliver improved hygiene and better productivity in food production and processing.
As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-management and the effective promotion of good HSE practice across the business.
You will be responsible for advising on all HSE matters and for ensuring compliance with appropriate legislative requirements as well as company internal protocols. You will maintain your knowledge and expertise in the HSE area and ensure that your own training and development needs are met in order that you can continue to provide professional and knowledgeable support to the business.
The successful candidate will have a BSc (ideally in Occupational Health, Safety Management or Environmental Science) or other equivalent technical qualifications, with at least three years of experience in a chemical or engineering manufacturing company. You will also be a holder of NEBOSH and/or IOSH. A full UK driving licence is required as the role will involve occasional travel to customer sites.
The HSE Manager job is based in the South Central / Home Counties region and is paying £35,000 - £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus annual 5% bonus, pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and excellent learning and development opportunities.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
