Are you a buyer in the food service / hospitality market with a thorough understanding of bid and tender processes? Have you worked for the likes of Compass, Aramark, Sodexo, Foodbuy etc? Are you capable of working to tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously? If so, we want to hear from you.

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading supplier of a variety of food products with a great reputation for quality and working collaboratively with their customers. They operate in a very fast paced arena and work closely with one another to ensure orders get to customers in full and on time. They serve chefs and restaurants on a daily basis and thousands of consumers eat their products. They have strong ties to the food scene in London (although they have a national reach) and pride themselves in serving some of the best restaurants in the country.

About the Job:
You will utilise your experience in bid/tender management to direct the commercial teams and manage multiple bids through the tender process. You will ensure all required documents are completed in full within time restrictions, so you must possess a real eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines. You will handle multiple bids and tenders at any one time so being organised and proactive will be a must. You will help the business grow by securing tenders and working with the commercial teams to ensure bids are competitive whilst profitable.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have worked for a food service or hospitality provider such as Compass/Foodbuy, Sodexo or Aramark in a buying / tender manager role. You will need to be extremely organised and be comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders. You will need to be a clear communicator therefore and able to explain the processes involved and the importance of the relevant documentation/costs/supply chain etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and be able to remain detail focused when working under pressure.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in managing complex food service / hospitality bids and tenders, be commercial savvy, a brilliant communicator and be exceptionally organised.

Salary:
~£45,000 DOE
