I am recruiting for a blue chip manufacturing organisation based in Liverpool who are looking for a CHP Engineer.
Client Details
My client is a blue chip fmcg / food manufacturing organisation.
Description
The individual will work within a 24/7 shift system (day & night shifts)
Will be required to have previous experience working in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
Must be capable of carrying out on the job dynamic risk assessments
Must have good chemical awareness
Must have a logical and pragmatic approach to fault finding and must have good analytical problem solving skills.
Be able to work with standard operating procedures
Must always adhere to health and safety standards and operating procedures
Profile
Be part of the main engineering department supporting the shift teams as appropriate
Competent in fault finding on electrical, instrumentation and mechanical systems.
Be flexible and a team player by working within the CHP departments shift float pattern
Be a good communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
Be willing to work within Lone Working procedures
Job Offer
- Starting salary = £41,251.59 potentially rising to in the first year £43,829.81
- 42 hours per week
- 4 on/4 off shift pattern (two 12hr days followed by two 12hr nights)
- 24 days holiday + 4 bank holidays
- 4% company pension contribution

- Cycle to Work scheme
