A fantastic opportunity for a driven Operations/Project Engineering professionals to work as a consultant to the FMCG Manufacturing businesses on nationwide  projects. My client is a global business  whose customers are household names. They are looking to expand this highly successful team and have both entry and senior roles available. They have multiple sites across the UK so are flexible on employee location, they  are interested in talented ,  passionate individuals who love Manufacturing and are experts in their field and want to develop their career.

The Candidate:

• You must have a background in a world class FMCG manufacturing environment and have a background in Engineering and a holistic style.
• A strong working knowledge of  FMCG  manufacturing ideally food & drink ,  personal care or consumer goods would be ideal. A degree in an Engineering  or similar discipline would be preferred.
• You  will enjoy variety in your role and have exposure to managing complex multi-team, multi-site operational consultancy, projects including automation, new lines,  factory extensions, process improvement/ Lean projects
• A willingness and adaptability to work on multiple projects of differing types is key.
• The ability to engage well with both employees and clients at all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a very high level of attention to detail.
• Willingness to work across the UK
• Excellent project management skills.

The Role:

• As  Manufacturing Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for delivering a wide range or operations related consulting projects across the UK.
• The projects range from feasibility studies and due diligence assessments to full scale capital project management for expansions and new builds as well as Automation/ New Lines etc.
• You will also be responsible for helping to develop the pipeline of business including identifying new opportunities, pitching to potential clients and writing proposals.
• The role is UK so you must be flexible to be able to adapt to this aspect.
