QA Manager - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Up to £30,000 DOE
Immediate start   

Reporting to the Technical Manager of Supply Chain, the primary focus will be to assist, as a member of a small team, in the continued development of a strong internal and external supply chain; acting as the first ‘technical’ point of contact for our suppliers to ensure the integrity, suitability, and quality (compliance with specification) of the day-to-day deliveries of all materials being supplied into the business. 
 

The successful candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in a relevant subject or experience in a similar role with previous technical and experience in a food factory environment.  You will have previous experience working with suppliers and customers supported by excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of BRC Standard, HACCP, and Food Legislation is essential. Computer literate, you will be competent in the use of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
