Are you ready for a new challenge in your NPD career?

Here you will be managing market-leading chilled food development projects for a leading premium retail customer.

Your focus will be developing a strong working relationship with your customer and delivering a range of innovation projects to successful launch. We are looking for someone that will have real credibility through their strong food credentials, manufacturing expertise and knowledge of UK retailers' ways of working.

Working closely with a talented Development Chef team, you'll be leading projects that are pushing the creative boundaries in UK retail and delivering exciting first to market concepts that consumers love. You're likely to be bordering on obsessed with all things food related, always tracking the latest trends, ingredients, recipes and restaurants. This passion and how you can articulate it will help enthuse your customer about new concepts. And your pragmatic knowledge of manufacturing processes and capabilities will ensure concepts are capable of effective scale up in the factory.

This is without doubt a busy job and you'll be juggling a lot of plates. Strong project management and organisational skills are crucial.

No two days will be the same though and you'll never be bored. You'll be spending time across different manufacturing sites, working closely with production teams. You'll also attend customer meetings to present ideas, showcase new products and discuss the next strategic plans for the category.
