With over fifty years of history and a global presence, this business has gone from strength to strength and is now looking to expand their team. This role will be based in a manufacturing facility supplying grocery products to the major retailers.
This essential role will consist of monitoring safety, legality and quality of products, providing vital technical support to the Technical Manager and working alongside the technical team. You will ensure products meet the highest quality standards by conducting internal audits, handling customer complaints, verifying food management systems and managing technical testing. You will assist with managing non-conformances and ensure the factory complies with legal requirements. This role will be a mixture of factory and technical office work.
- Food Science related degree/qualification
- Experience/ training to Level 2 or above in Food Safety / Level 2 HACCP
- Strong level of computer systems and software
- Ability of work independently as well as being part of the technical team
This role is on a shift basis of 7am to 4pm or 12.00 to 9.00pm
