A day in the life of a Natures Way Foods Project Manager:

We make delicious salad meals, fruit pots, coleslaw, potato salad, bagged salads and leafy salad bowls across our 4 manufacturing sites. Our products are stocked by leading Retail supermarkets & popular restaurant chains, consumed by millions of customers in the UK. So, you may well have eaten something made by us!

As an important member of our newly formed Project Management team you will be managing multiple and complex projects as well as mentoring a direct report.

We have a 7 stage Development Process that you will track and project manage, ensuring that all stakeholders are on track and accountable for their area.

You will use your expert project management skills and natural attention to detail to ensure that projects stay within budget, meet deadlines and ensure that key KPIs are met.

Although this role requires you to have excellent attention to detail and amazing organisational skills, you will also need to be a confident communicator with the ability to successfully lead cross functional meetings with teams across the business.

Travel is a requirement of the role and can be as much as once per week to a client site - client sites are situated throughout the UK and will mainly be day trips however the odd overnight stay may be required on occasion.

This is a busy role with lots of multitasking of multiple projects so if you get satisfaction from a changing workload, meeting deadlines, having responsibility but also working as a team to get things achieved, then you would be a great fit for our Project Management team.

Role type: Permanent

Hours: Admin hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, 1 hour for lunch. Some flexibility will be required in this role at times due to project timeframes / travel on occasion.

About you:

This role is all about your excellent Project Management skills! Ideally you will have Project Management experience within an SME company to have gained the breadth and level of responsibility required to enable you to be successful in this role.

Natural resilience when things change or don't go to plan and a desire to ensure projects are managed on time and in budget.

A Project Administrator will report to you and support you so previous managerial experience is essential to help shape and support their career journey.

You will need to have a formal Project Management qualification and training for example PRINCE2, PMQ, Agile.

Good IT skills are a must, including Microsoft Office and MS Project.

Although this is a fast-paced role with plenty of responsibility, a good sense of humour is always welcome!
