The job

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you would be responsible for maintaining all documentation related to the Quality Management System in line with BRC standards.

You will assist with the management of the QMS including undertaking internal audits, work with customers and suppliers to ensure accurate completion of pack copy, artwork and product specifications, manage all customer requirements and KPIs, investigate customer complaints, identifying root cause and corrective action plus develop effective working relationships with the retailer Technologists and supplier based Technical Managers.

Your experience

To be considered for the Technical Information Officer, you will have strong QMS experience from within food manufacturing. You’ll be a highly organised, numerate and results-focused, with excellent communication, planning and IT skills, plus practical knowledge of the BRC Standard.  HACCP or CIEH level 3 qualification would also be desirable and experience writing retailer product specifications together with artwork and labelling experience is absolutely essential.

The Technical Information Officer job is based in the North West region and is paying c. £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience + benefits.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, however as mentioned, the business is very flexible and 1 day a week can be worked from home.
