Senior Product Developer

We have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced NPD professional to join an already well established NPD function. Based in the Home Counties, the company is well known for creating and delivering innovate products for a wide range of high profile customers within the retail, food service & B2B

We are recruiting a Senior Product Developer to drive the development of new and exciting products. You will be responsible for managing the NPD process for a range of accounts, managing direct reports and working closely with other departments to ensure the successful development of products

You will support the NPD Manager to achieve objectives and play a key role in the development of the company’s overall strategy

Monday – Friday | £33K - £38K DOE | 31 days holiday | Pension Scheme | Life Assurance

Key Accountabilities:

• Drive the development of new products in response to customer briefs
• Effectively manage the team in development of products from concept to launch
• Have a great knowledge of market trends to enable the development of ‘first to market’ products   
• Develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Proactively seek out new NPD opportunities

The Candidate:

• Degree educated with a Food Science or similar degree (Preferred)
• Proven track record In NPD working from concept to launch
• Passion for food
• Team Management
• Awareness of current trends and innovation
• Presentation skills
