Are you a proven commercial professional with experience in managing top 4 retailers? Are you a NAM/SNAM looking for a step up in responsibilities? If so, this might be the role for you.

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading chilled and ambient food business with a large portfolio of customers including many of the major food retailers, clients in the food service channel and B2B customers. They are an established business with a good reputation and are part of a larger group. With recent projects to secure longer term business partnerships, this is an exciting time to join the company. They have some ambitious growth plans for this site, having delivered fantastic results at other sites within the business. You will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for the performance of the site and team.

About The Job:
You will use your experience managing the food retailers to drive the business further. You will be comfortable analysing/presenting market and consumer data to identify areas where the business and the customers could grow their market share. You will be well connected with the retailers and have a proven track record of delivering commercial results.

The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a hard worker who is dedicated to drive the business forward with a proven track record of delivering commercial results. You will be articulate, very polished and presentable and have a good knowledge of the food industry. You will be responsible for managing, mentoring and leading a team to deliver commercial results. You will be adaptable and able to adjust your style and approach depending on the customer in front of you on any given day. Ideally you will be GAP negotiation trained and also have solid training in category management.

Minimum Requirements:
Very simple really, to be considered for this role as a minimum you must:
Have a proven track record with the major food retailers.
Be able to manage and mentor a team effectively, creating a strong team culture built on motivation to deliver and succeed.
Have great communication skills and be able to communicate and work at pace.
Be a strong team player who is hardworking, articulate and polished.
Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to customers.

Salary:
~£70k - £75k DOE + car, pension, health care etc. The client doesn't pay bonuses but will progress people when they deliver.
