Production Line Supervisor

Production Line Supervisor, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Food Manufacturing

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, the successful applicants will assume full operational responsibility for the efficient and economic operation of their slicing line's production, ensuring the processes, production and quality of their products meet the safest and highest specification that sets out whilst ensuring that all staff within your area of responsibility work safely and efficiently.

This role will follow a weekly rotating shift pattern of 5.30am-2pm and 1.45pm-10pm Monday to Friday inclusive. In this position you will also be expected to work the weekend on a rota basis with other members of your team and will also include 1 late finish of 2 hours (1 in every 2 weeks). Supervisory start up and handovers form part of the standard contractual hours.

Applicants must have a good standard of basic education, be numerate and literate and have an excellent timekeeping and attendance record. We are looking for highly driven, motivated and enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills who thrive on working in a fast paced, target driven environment.
