Account Manager - Delicatessens, Wholefood Stores, Farmer's Markets etc

The company supplies premium Italian food products to UK retailers and wholesalers. There are accounts to manage already, but like any start up business they are hungry for more accounts and need you to help them unlock the door. The products are of the highest quality and sell themselves - but experience with delis, wholefoods stores, forecourts and farmer's markets will help you do that effectively and land you this job.
The job would initially focus on the south of England but will soon go nationwide.
As a consequence we are looking for someone close to Surrey, but that is flexible and happy to travel as the business grows.
- It goes without saying we are looking for business development and account management skills in this position, though the level of the successful candidate is flexible.
- A good understanding of Italian food is essential, as is a good level of written and spoken business English.
- This is also a role for someone willing to look forward into the future and see what it could be.
