Our Level 3 Food Technologist Apprenticeship provision continues to grow and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assessor to join the team at our Brackenhurst campus of NTU.

The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at our Brackenhurst campus is located in a 200-hectare estate near the attractive Minster town of Southwell. The university in recent years, has invested in laboratories and teaching facilities, glasshouses and wildlife conservation areas, veterinary and animal science units, equestrian arena and commercial farming facilities to create a superb location for teaching our Further Education students. The university continues to invest in Brackenhurst with a new Reception and Environment Centre currently under construction.

The role requires an exceptional individual who is self-motivated to assess the Food Technologist apprentices in the workplace across England.

The successful applicant must have worked within the food manufacturing industry in a technical or quality role for at least 5 years and have some experience of training and assessment.

The role is for a 0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week). A driving licence is essential for this role and the post holder will be expected to travel to food manufacturers across England.
