Food Technologist - Homebased

A new role has just become available working for a premium proteins business in the East Anglia area. These guys are growing year on year and are not one of the local big blue chips but rather an SME.

They are looking for an office and customer based Food Technologist to manage all customers in one of their sectors. You will be the point of contact for all new and existing business for technical and development queries and issues.

Role and Candidate
You will be reporting into the Technical Manager you will be first point of contact for technical and quality enquiries for specific accounts. You will within your allocated product category, assist in the development of raw materials and conversions, to include formulation, packaging, labelling and specification, for customer account and site approval
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Office. You will be prepared for occasional travel to Europe as well as travel to UK customers. The role is home based
Salary: 30-40K
Bonus: circa £3,000 dependant on company performance (pro-rata for 2017)   
Holidays: 22 (plus Bank Holidays) rising by one day for every calendar year worked, to maximum of 25 days
Pension: 3% employer contribution / 4 x annual salary death in service
