Long standing multinational plastics manufacturer based in Somerset with a factory of circa 250 staff. The site has seen a large amount of investment to give them the cutting edge over their competition.

Description

The Operations Director will need to have a big initial impact on the site, quickly ascertain its strengths and weaknesses and form a short, medium and long term strategy to improve the site. You will need to drive a high performing and motivated culture. Creating and environment of continuous improvement .

Profile

Operations Director needs the following experience:

• Ideally experience of leading a factory or operations of a plastics or packaging manufacturer.
• Proven track record of improving factory performance, reducing costs and developing staff.
• Strong strategic planning and implementation.
• Desired Degree education
• Ideally a qualification in manufacturing
• Ideally NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
• 6Sigma black belt
