The company

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to work for a family owned business, which has become the supplier of choice to many leading food manufacturing companies, servicing the most demanding and dynamic retail market in the world.

The job

The business is seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to the senior management team, who will develop and lead their team to drive customer service and efficiency forwards.

This is a key position within the business responsible for leading a small team responsible for customer service, planning, raw material supply and warehouse operations. Products are sourced direct from origin countries, requiring that supply chain assurance and integrity are paramount.

Your experience

This role offers a great opportunity for a talented manager looking to progress and move up to a senior management position, but equally the role may also suit a more established candidate looking for a new challenge within a more autonomous SME environment. You will possess a strong supply chain track record together with excellent working knowledge of forecasting, import clearance, inventory management, invoice processing, supplier management and ERP systems. HACCP and Internal Auditing qualifications are desirable.

The Supply Chain Manager job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying c. £55,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
