Supplier Technical Manager

I have a vacancy available for a Supplier Technical Manager.

This is working with a very exciting business, their real passion for food and nutrition alongside total commitment to working with the highest quality ingredients has led them to be the fastest growing business in the UK in their field.

They are looking for someone who shares this passion, who has knowledge and understanding of fresh produce (and ideally agriculture) to join them on their journey.

You would spend roughly 3 days per week travelling to suppliers across the country, and would need to be flexible to visit the packhouse (West Midlands) on a weekly basis and Head Office (London) on a monthly basis.

Salary is very dependent on experience, but would be in the region of around £40-55k.

The main focus of the role is as follows:

• Build strong relationships with suppliers
• Work with suppliers to set and improve standards, ensuring they are producing ingredients to the highest quality.
• Work alongside QA Team, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure Quality, Safety and Legality of products through from supply chain to finished product.
• Manage supplier performance, including risk & vulnerability assessments
