The Role

You will work as part of the UK Marketing and Product team where you will be responsible for the development of the food category strategy. You will work with your senior manager to set the strategic direction for the food offerings in the UK market which are in line with the company’s long term strategy and vision. 

You’ll manage a talented Product Developer to create amazing products that will make an impact across a number of product categories. You will also work with key suppliers to lead the development of new product or packaging concepts that are in keeping with the brand as well as being commercially viable.  You will also ensure the smooth implementation of new products or initiatives for all products in your category, working with cross-functional teams to make things happen.

The Person

We are looking for a talented and commercially astute NPD Manager or Product Developer with experience of leading category strategy, delivering top and bottom line growth through the development of new products and managing product development initiatives for a branded food business.

You’ll have dazzling communication and decision-making skills with the confidence to implement long-term category strategies and the ability to work cross-functionally.  With great commercial awareness and a real drive to succeed, you’ll be compelling and persuasive, can deliver effective solutions and have a natural flair for influencing key stakeholders.
