The purpose of the Consumer Research Project Assistant is to undertake both technical and administrative activities involved in the setup and running of consumer research projects.
Your day to day responsibilities will include setting up project numbers, acquiring product samples/testing materials, maintaining project folders, recruiting respondents for research, logging and storage of samples, invoicing, liaising with suppliers, carrying out basic data analysis, interpretation and reporting.
You will work closely with colleagues, as well as liaise with clients and/or subcontractors regarding test design, recruitment, fieldwork and reporting plus support colleagues to ensure the continued growth of business and client satisfaction.
To be considered for the Consumer Research Project Assistant role, you be educated to a degree level in a food, consumer science or closely related discipline, ideally with knowledge of consumer behaviour/psychology. A background of working within a consumer or field/project related role is highly desirable.
You will be highly organised, possess excellent attention to detail and be IT literate including Word and Excel. A UK valid driving licence is also preferred.
The Consumer Research Project Assistant job is based in the South Central / West Midlands region and is paying £17,500 - £21,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
This is a maternity cover contract with a duration of 12-18 months.
