You will be working for a well-established business which produces a great range of high-quality products, produced mainly for private label customers and also own brand. The business is committed to using sustainable and responsibly managed ingredients.
As QC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all products are produced to the quality standard and specification required by customers and as stated in the company quality manual.
You will follow and maintain HACCP principles, maintain a clean, safe and hygienic work area, carry out chemical analysis on products, record temperatures, inspect and record final pack label checks, collect samples for testing, calibrate equipment, check and record findings on all incoming materials, carry out traceability audits, check off and sign all daily paperwork, conduct weekly glass audits and ensure metal detectors are working correctly and that all rejects are handled.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate level individual looking for a role where they can grow and progress within a successful food production business. You will be a holder of a food science, nutrition or related degree and/or possess previous experience of working in a quality assurance related role. To succeed, you will have an undeniable passion for food, have high attention to detail and can work independently.
The QC Technician job is based in the Northern Scotland region and is paying £18,500.
