Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Quality over Quantity
We both know quality is the most important part of any successful food manufacturer. (But don't tell the guys in production.)
And that's where your passion is.
As a business, they've implemented a training and development plan, meaning you'll be able to get those qualifications that you've been waiting to go on. They have actually recently put the team through Level 4 HACCP, I'm not just saying this.
They've also invested heavily in the site which is visible when you walk round the factory, with more investment to come.
You'll be expected to come in and hit the ground running, looking to make improvements from the start and with a big emphasis on developing the team that you will inherit.
You'll get the chance to come in and work under, in my opinion, one of the best Technical Managers in the area (I have worked with him for a while, I'm not just saying that.) He is someone that is big on succession planning, meaning that in time you will be given more and more responsibility, and ultimately in a position to take that next step up to Technical Management.
As the experienced QA Manager that you are, you know all about food quality and safety and everything it entails, as well as how to successfully motivate and drive your team.
Don't worry about the type of products you've worked with before as they're not fussy.
If your CV is good to go, please apply now. But if not, just pick up the phone and call James on 01733 391515 for a chinwag.
