Supply Chain Manager

This Global business are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee, and take full responsibility for, the UK operations and distribution to mainland Europe.
The UK Supply Chain Manager will be a key influence in the success of the business’ UK performance; liaising and negotiating with third party suppliers and logistic providers. The business will be relying on this person to make big decisions that will maintain and improve the already high standards. The company want to grow their retail involvement and will be looking to the Supply Chain Manager to lead this growth, through necessary and important changes.
As this is a senior role and we expect to have a good range of candidates I want to state the must haves:
- UK Food manufacturing background in a Senior Supply Chain role.
- Have been in charge of, or heavily involved in supply chain operations, building relationships with suppliers and 3PL negotiations
- An open and honest management style, firm but fair. An approachable leader is committed to delivering success
This role is based in the Midlands, commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Derby, Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area
