The role predominantly involves managing the efficient and economic operation of the shift’s production in the low risk uncooked meat area. You will ensure the processes; production and quality of our products meet the safest and highest specification that the company sets out.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience of leading, managing and developing staff in a challenging and fast paced customer focused working environment ensuring that all staff are working safely and efficiently within the agreed labour budgets.
Reporting directly to the Low Risk Senior Shift Manager and working closely with key disciplines including planning, NPD, Health and Safety, Human Resources and Technical departments, you will be expected to demonstrate sound management, communication and organisational skills to achieve the planned production levels.
Applicants must hold or be working towards a professional management qualification, food safety (Level 3 or equivalent), health & safety (IOSH) and working knowledge of HACCP systems. They work on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern.
