Sales Manager, China Region

Location: Utrecht


This role will be working for a leading marketer of proteins produced around the world. With sales of over $1 billion in poultry, beef, pork, seafood and frozen fruits & vegetables. They supply in to 140 countries and have 15 offices worldwide. As a dynamic, people-oriented company. Position Overview:

For the growth of the China market, we are looking for experienced, motivated and driven professionals looking to take on the challenge of growing protein (Pork, Meat or Poultry) business into China and expanding the region to its true potential.

Scope of Responsibility:

Effectively purchasing and selling of pork, meat and poultry in full and mixed load shipments to China.

Responsible for inventory management.

Assist operations team with information for transportation movement in order to meet desired shipment schedules and avoid unnecessary costs.

Maintain frequent verbal and written communications with assigned customers.

Assists the team to grow market share and diversify products and origins sold into the market.

Position inventory for assigned customers and/or team.

Experience & Education:

  • 5+ years’ experience in international frozen food provider business into China.
  • Specific selling and purchase experience with Pork, Meat or Poultry A proven history of developing customer or vendor market share.
  • Knowledge of claims, credit and operations procedures University Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Mandarin
