Shift Pattern: We are currently looking for a mechanically bias engineer for an engineering shift position, working Day/Night/Back rotation with 1 in 6 Sunday nightshift cover required 12hrs. 
Salary: Competitive Salary + shift allowance + overtime allowance

Why work as part of our engineering team? 

As we look to continue to grow as business, meaning the capability & performance of our Bakeries is more important than ever. This has led to a number of new process improvement launched as part of our engineering strategy. 

What does your typical day look like? 

You will support the site engineering requirements, incorporating 12 plants and all associated equipment. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair on a diverse range of plant and equipment and will be expected to contribute effectively to all planned preventive maintenance across the factory. You will be a time served and qualified mechanical engineer and will have had previous experience in a fast moving/high volume manufacturing environment. 

What are the key ingredients needed for the role? 

- Ideal candidate will have completed a relevant apprenticeship or hold equivalent qualifications and experience. 
- You should possess a sound knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes and drive systems, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. 
- Should have relevant experience from within a fast moving production environment. 
- Good problem solving skills. 
- Team player and self-starter.
