Health and Safety Coordinator, Deeside, £30,000 per annum + benefits

The Company is one of the biggest manufacturers in Europe of supermarket own brand breakfast cereals and cereal bars. We are a leading manufacturer of innovative and delicious breakfast cereals as well as cereal bars and we are able to offer our customers an extensive range of finished products available on the market.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Deeside and be responsible for promoting, maintaining and developing all H&S activities. You will be able to grow the role and make it your own.

An excellent team playing with great communication skills you will plan, implement, audit and review our safety and quality procedures, and develop the risk assessment program, raising any concerns with the Technical Manager.

Driving continuous improvement programs, you will support training initiatives and needs, manage the company crisis management plan and ensure all accidents and incidents are investigated and actioned appropriately.

We are looking for an individual with a proven background in a similar health and safety role. You will hold the NEBOSH qualification or have the equivalent proven relevant experience and will be accustomed to delivering relevant training.

Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally food manufacturing) would be beneficial. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you must be able to build relationships quickly and influence at all levels.
