·Responsible for preparing regular financial statements (daily/weekly), such as profit and loss accounts, monitoring the sites financial performance, including business spending, costs and budgets by extracting and analyzing coded information and preparing profit forecasts and revenue information.

Key Accountability:

·Responsible for assisting in producing management accounts – daily & weekly reports, month end processes, forecast and budget, promotional and costing analysis and stock control.

·Liaising with other departments in order to identify any potential risk and increase efficiency and profitability in the business.

·Providing yield and margin reports and value adding analysis

·Ensures that financial reporting mechanisms are robust, accurate and delivered timely.

·Assisting preparing the annual budget and rolling forecasts

·Attend the stock take and collate related documents for auditing.

·Creating and updating statistical reports, using spreadsheets, graphs and tables.

·Continually develop own skills through attending company training

·Develop and maintain internal relationships with peers in other departments

·Assume overall responsibility for the safety of self and others whilst at work

Skills & Knowledge:

·Understanding of SAP and production systems and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills.

·Strong organizational and communication skills.

·Detail driven, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.

·Analytical in the explanation of business performance

·Uses logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.

·Demonstrates effective time management skills.

·Sets example by actively contributing to department and company goals.

·Takes the initiative and seeks out additional training or direction as needed.

·Maintains strong effective relationships across the business with the central and local logistics team, finance and operations.

·Good communicator at all levels sharing information, knowledge, instructions and advice.

* Previous experience in a FMCG would be desirable
