If you are an experienced HSE practitioner looking for a stand out opportunity with a rapidly expainding Food Manufacturer then this could be just what you have been looking for. This organization produces some of the most desirable products on the shelves and has an immediate need for proactive and driven NEBOSH qualified HSE professionals to spearhead improvements across their large, modern manufacturing facility.

This is a highly autonomous role and as such you will take full ownership of the site HSE agenda - this really is a great challenge for an established HSE employee to grow into a bigger business.

With a blank canvas and a newly created position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an environmental strategy across the site. You'll need strong communication skills as you gain the buy in from all levels of management ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures. Another key aspect of this role will be to proactively develop and encourage a Behavioural Safety culture towards Health, Safety and Environmental welfare of all colleagues and identify suitable and sufficient SHE training advice and recommend training resource to achieve this.

To be considered for this role you will be an existing Health & Safety / H&S Manager / SHE Manager, ideally holding a NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA qualification and have previous experience from within a fast paced and complex food industry - this is a pre-requisite. An understanding of ISO14001 and BRC accreditations would also be highly advantageous. A forward thinking individual you will be able to initiate and implement new policies and procedures and have a tenacious and determined personality. You must be a confident self-starter with a genuine desire to succeed you will be an effortless communicator across all levels.
