Experienced Shift Manager needed to guide and develop a growing team in this food manufacturing site.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-invested and growing food company based near Swansea. Manufacturing a range of ambient grocery products for the retail sector this is a fast-paced high-volume production environment. As a Shift Manager you will utilise your experience in food manufacturing to lead a large team in hitting and exceeding the production KPI's.

Due to the growth of the business this a relatively new team which needs your experience to guide them and improve their skill levels. With ambitious production targets to hit, your knowledge will be invaluable in ensuring the right behaviours are instilled into the team to achieve the required service levels.

As within any factory environment Health and Safety of team members is top priority so you must ensure your team adheres to the correct policies and utilises appropriate PPE when necessary.

For this role we are looking for someone who is experience in managing a large team within a food manufacturing site and can hit the ground running. You will have good understanding of the KPI's used in a factory setting such as OEE, yield, giveaway, downtime, waste etc and understand how to positively influence these.
