You may look at a Factory General Manager position and assume your time will be spent in the Ivory Tower.

This isn't the case.

As the site figure head for a complex and market leading Food Manufacturing Company, you will be a natural extrovert that exuberates confidence and succeeds with a hands on and visual management approach. You will be responsible for full site operations including Production, Engineering, Quality, Technical, Planning and H&S - delivering consistent results and striving to improve performance across all departments.


Reporting directly to the Group Head of Operations, you will have a degree of ownership and autonomy which is second to none. With full P&L responsibility, you will be expected to formulate a strategy to improve current processes alongside delivering the budget through sales, innovation and managing plant, people and equipment.

As the business grows, it needs a dynamic and confident leader to spearhead the site through an exciting time in their history.


What do you need?

Partnered with your up-beat personality and drive to succeed, you will need an exceptional background in Chilled Food Manufacturing managing full site operations across a busy and complex site.

It goes without saying that inherent in any senior role is the ability to drive cultural and operational change and as such you will have a track record of success in delivering sustainable change through Lean Manufacturing principles.
