Our client is a big player in the FMCG sector and are looking for a talented Grower to join the growing functions team. The role has come about due to a result of continued expansion and ideal for an ambitious, hands on, hard working person with a passion for growing/farming.

In the role you will be responsible for day to day involvement in growing plants, and implementation of reliable growing processes including pesticide application irrigation, lighting, temperature control and adjustment, growing media, fertilization, nutrition and monitoring the overall health of plants.
Part of your role will include taking on duties such as aiding with training to the growing team, performing other duties as asked by the Growing Manager and visiting other sites when necessary. The role will be very challenging but will offer progression and reward in return for hard work.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Growing role with an FMCG company
• Glass House experience
• Strong teamwork skills and can engage well with the rest of the growing team
• Strong attention to detail for plants, pests and diseases especially
• Strong IT skills including excel
• Passion for Growing
