An opportunity for a delivery focused Ingredients Buyer to step up to the next level.

My client is a leading player in the branded FMCG market with instantly recognisable household brands. They are proud of their heritage and reputation for manufacturing innovative, market leading products across the world.

They are now looking for an experienced Ingredients Buyer to join the procurement function as a Category Manager. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and implement procurement strategies across the Group for all ingredients.

You'll need to have a strong track record of achieving real savings across your spend categories gained in a multi-site FMCG business. It's a fast moving, ever-changing environment, so you'll be comfortable working under pressure to ever-changing priorities and deadlines. Strong strategic sourcing experience and a working knowledge of category management within food ingredients is essential within a matrix style environment.
