Warehouse Manager required for a fast-paced manufacturing company in the Portsmouth area.

This Warehouse Manager position will oversee the raw materials and finished goods warehouses at a large FMCG manufacturing site. You will manage, lead, coach and motivate the warehouse teams to meet the business objectives of storage, handling, picking and loading of stock, WIP and finished goods, on time and in full, within cost and safely.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will help to improve processes and systems to increase standards and performance across the two warehouses providing timely reporting on departmental performance.

Main responsibilities:
  • Managing stock control, stock accuracy and stock audits
  • Ensuring Health & Safety of staff at all times
  • Maintaining business systems and processes
  • Managing and developing the Warehousing team
  • Work on continuous improvement projects
  • Managing 3PL suppliers


For this role we are looking for someone with previous management experience in a warehousing environment; good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, IOSH qualification and project management understanding.
