Technical Assistant

Working in a small, family run business gives you flexibility and a much warmer feeling about the working environment. The company currently only supplies into the food service but are knocking on the doors of all the main retailers so you will be there through the success of obtaining new business.

The technical manager hasn't been there too long but is looking for their right hand 'person' who will have to have the skills set to support the bakery QA from time to time so a QA background would put you at an advantage (however QA skills are trainable). An existing technical assistant or supervisor who has had exposure to customer and 3rd party audits is what we are looking for.

You'll have to be system savvy and have a get up and go personality to hit the ground running with the company and the team. A technical food background is essential with knowledge of BRC, HACCP, food legislation and hygiene standards. You'll be used to a list as long as your arm of responsibilities and expectations as you're experienced in the technical team so I won't list them all!
