A day in the life of a Finance Business Partner:

We make delicious salad meals, fruit pots, coleslaw, potato salad, bagged salads and leafy salad bowls across our 4 manufacturing sites. Our private label products are stocked by leading Retail supermarkets & popular restaurant chains, consumed by millions of customers in the UK. So, you may well have eaten something made by us!

We are currently in serious growth mode with ambitious plans, so It's truly an exciting time to join the team and get involved.

You will be partnering closely with the business, working particularly closely with Sales and other commercial functions. Your focus will be on ensuring profitability across our largest customer accounts. Essentially, we make new products with different ingredients and combinations regularly. This all needs to be fully costed to ensure viability for us and our customers.

Key responsibilities include providing robust financial management information, recommendations and challenging all aspects of the business to deliver improved decision support resulting in growth in Sales and/or EBITDA.

You will be instrumental to influencing projects and business decisions. This role is extremely diverse - no 2 days will be the same, and you'll utilise your business and financial acumen to influence at all levels within our business.

You will also be managing and mentoring an Assistant Finance Business Partner. We can support you with management training if you have not people managed before.

Role type: Permanent.

Hours: Standard hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm - Monday - Friday although we do offer opportunities to work from home and flexibility when work load allows.

No period end or any Management Accountancy responsibility! This is purely a commercial Finance role!

About you:

You'll be a positive problem solver and an innovator. We are looking for a strong team player, customer focused with excellent analytical and communication skills. You'll be able to handle multiple projects and have a real eye for detail.

If you have the following knowledge and experience, we want to talk to you:

• Previous Business partnering or Commercial Finance experience.
• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Ability to challenge and influence.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Financial data analysis.
• Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing Accounts (desirable).
