Any experienced Pastry Chefs out there looking for a new opportunity? A large business based in Surrey are looking for a Senior Development Chef to head up their Development kitchen in Surrey.
Working closely with a Development Chef, and reporting directly to the Head of NPD, you will be the creative juice for Product Development on site. Working on concept ideas, you will be tasked on fulfilling customer briefs for one of the UK's largest suppliers of baked goods.
Due to the niche product range, you will need to have extensive knowledge on Danish pastries and laminated and yeasted doughs. Your role will be to provide inspiring ideas and solutions to both customers and the business. As this is a customer facing role, the successful candidate will need to have a professional, yet personable approach. It's standard Monday to Friday working hours with a little more expected at the times of product launches. There will also be frequent travel to two other manufacturing sites in Bedfordshire.
