We are looking to hire a Management Accountant to assist the Financial Controller in the overall provision of Site financial support. The successful applicant will review, analyse and appraise key weekly financial reports, to enable business decisions to be made

Main responsibilities

Weekly accounts

• Preparation and ownership of weekly P&L accounts


• Detailed commentary with key performance analysis – specifically identify key trends, issues for corrective action


• Weekly sales reports and analysis with key trends highlighted


• Preparation of weekly forecasts


• Attendance of key variance meetings


• Production of weekly site KPI information


 

Monthly accounts

• Supporting site Financial Accountant with monthly P&L account


 

Budgets & Forecasts

• Support site Financial Controller with operational aspects of the P&L

 

Other

• Develop or validate new product pricing, costing, margin analysis to support new business presentations


•  Continuously review business & Finance practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency


• Financial Modelling


• Ad hoc duties as required

 

Ideal candidate

• FMCG experience preferable


• Excellent data manipulation skills using MS Excel.


• Dealing, communicating and influencing at all levels within an organisation


• At least a 2:1 level degree, preferably within Accounting and Finance 


• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or QBE
